Caroline joined Working Word in 2007 after an in-house stint with a County Council's PR team and nearly three years with a Cardiff-based PR and marketing agency. Caroline has devised and managed creative communications programmes for some of the UK's best-known brands and has also developed specialist knowledge of the construction and property industries. She looks after a range of integrated campaigns and accounts covering PR, marketing, advertising, digital media and brand development.
At Working Word Caroline oversees and manages teams working across a range of sectors from public sector information campaigns to profile raising for businesses in the professional services. Working Word’s ‘people’ person, Caroline is the director responsible for all things HR and operations-related and likes nothing more than a good cost-saving initiative. Outside the office Caroline is a co-founder of Fiftyone3, a networking organisation specifically designed for young professionals as well as a committee member for the Welsh business women’s network Grwp. Passionate about the development of young people, Caroline is also a Welsh Government Big Ideas role model, giving up her own time to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs and business owners in Wales.
A graduate of Cardiff University's Public and Media Relations post-graduate diploma course, Caroline also holds a BA (hons) degree in Journalism, Film and Broadcasting and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR).
