In Dan’s 13 years in the industry, he’s advised clients in fields as eclectic as professional sports, tourism, pop music, heritage, health, alcoholic drinks, third sector, arts, education, professional services and government information.

Dan was the co-chair of CIPR's Social Media Panel, which is made up of some of the foremost social media thought-leaders and contributors and plays a significant role in the development of policy guidance, education, and training on the topic of digital and social media in public relations.

He was a contributor to the No. 1 Amazon bestseller Lord Sugar-endorsed book from CIPR, ‘Share This: A PR’s social media handbook’ and its sequel, ‘Share This Too’.

Dan has been a men’s columnist for the national newspaper of Wales, the Western Mail, and has written for national men’s magazines and literature magazines. As a music journalist, he interviewed bands like Kings of Leon in Travelodges and festival back stages but got out before the beer went flat.

He is a guest lecturer on PR to Masters Students at Cardiff University’s School of Journalism, Media and Cultural Studies, a former CIPR Outstanding Young Communicator of the Year and formerly vice chair of the Sport Wales Advisory Group.

A graduate of English Language and Literature from the University of Liverpool, Dan has regularly won industry recognition for his campaigns at the CIPR’s Excellence and PRide awards, with a campaign for National Museum Wales- Amgueddfa Cymru picking up the award for best public sector campaign in the UK in 2012. His debut novel was  published by Parthian Books in spring 2014 and he's performed at festivals including Hay and Edinburgh Fringe.
