Jessica joined Working Word following a three-year spell in London, where she enjoyed stints at numerous award-winning PR agencies, including Frank PR and Synergy Sponsorship. During her time in the Big Smoke, Jessica gained experience in a number of specialist PR areas, including consumer, food and drink, lifestyle and sports.
Jessica has a proven track record of working with leading consumer brands, blue-chip companies and elite sporting talent during her previous campaigns, which include the RBS 6 Nations, Bupa’s Great Run Series, 2015 Rugby World Cup and the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games. However, a personal career highlight for Jessica was when she coaxed the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, to mount a horse during a photo call for her client; despite his straight-laced press office team’s vigorous efforts to stop him. The combination of distracting the publicist and cheering Boris on clearly paid off, with subsequent coverage of Boris Johnson proudly sat on the horse appearing in numerous national newspapers the following day - and rumour has it even his publicist was happy with the result!
Jessica’s tenacious attitude and natural eye for PR opportunities has seen her secure coverage for her clients within an array of prominent media titles, including; Stylist, Sunday Times’ Style, Daily Mail, BBC News, The Weekend magazine, The Times, BBC Radio 4 and Marie Claire.
